How do verified rounds work?
Everyone in your group scores their own card on the same live sheet — nobody can edit yours. When the round ends, partners confirm or dispute each other's cards. Confirmed rounds post to your ledger as verified; disputes flag a profile.
I entered a wrong score. How do I fix it?
While the round is live, tap any of your saved holes on the scorecard — the entry controls reopen for that hole. Save the correction and you're returned to where you were. Solo rounds don't post until you tap End round, so there's always a review moment. Once a round is complete it's locked — that's the record your partners attested to.
How do I rate a course?
Finish a round at a catalog course you haven't rated and the golf-ball rating sheet appears — one to five balls, once per player, and it can't be changed later. "Not now" just skips it until your next round there.
Why can't I set a handicap?
Self-reporting a handicap requires a GHIN number. No GHIN? Choose "I play without a handicap" — once you've posted a few verified rounds, Caddy Cred computes an index for you from scores your partners actually confirmed. Caddy Cred is not affiliated with the USGA and computed indexes are recreational approximations.
A course is missing, or its scorecard is wrong.
The catalog covers 12,000+ US courses from OpenStreetMap plus community contributions. You can always play a missing course as a custom course — and on courses without a scorecard, enough matching rounds promote your par card to the course's card. For corrections, email us with the course name and city.
How do I report or block a player?
Open their profile (from a scorecard, group, or open spot) and use Report or Block at the bottom. Reports — including inappropriate photos — are reviewed and acted on; the player is not told who reported them. Blocking hides their open spots and search results from you.
What do wagers on open spots mean?
A max wager per hole is information the host posts so everyone knows the game before requesting a spot. Caddy Cred never handles money — see our Terms of Use.
How do I delete my account?
Profile → Delete account. That permanently removes your profile, your ratings record, your photo, and your solo rounds. Rounds played with partners remain on their verified ledgers, the way a name stays on a paper scorecard. If the app asks you to sign in again first, that's a security requirement — sign in and delete again.
Notifications or the lock-screen card aren't showing.
Check Settings → Notifications → Caddy Cred, and Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Live Activities. The lock-screen card appears only while a round is live and clears when it posts.
